• Once you place your order you'll be emailed an address to submit your photos via email or post.
• If you have preference for specific colors to be included in the portrait’s design, please inform us.
  
• If for any reason the studio determines that the photo will not work well for the design of the portrait (out of focus, bad lighting, face too small, etc), we will request a new photo at no additional charge. In case that you decide not to use a different photograph, we will cancel the order immediately without any penalties or fees.  If your credit card has been charged you will be refunded for the full amount. 
• Once the studio approves the photo for the design, an email proof of the design will be emailed to you for approval and/or color changes, at no extra charge. The studio, in most cases cannot add design elements that do not exist in the photos; however, we will do our best to accommodate your requests.   
• The studio will return the original photo to you along with the portrait.

• Due to the personalized nature of the portraits, we will not accept returns of orders already forwarded to us for production/print.  However, in the event that you wish to cancel the order after the design is done and prior to printing/mounting, we will refund 60% of the total of the order to you. The remaining 40% will cover the cost of the design production and administrative fees.
  

• Portraits are delivered directly from the studio. All shipments are insured against damage. If a portrait arrives damaged, please arrange with us to have the portrait returned and a new portrait will be shipped within two business day at no additional cost. In order to fulfil the insurance policy, you must keep all packaging materials for inspection. 

• We guarantee to deliver the portraits within 14 business days or less from receipt of the approved photo. Holiday orders and requests for design changes are subject to extended delivery times. Rush orders can be processed for an extra fee of $55 or 18% of the portrait price (which ever is greater of the two), in which case the customer will receive a design proof within 1-2 business days. Expedited shipping can also be arranged for an extra fee. Please email us with this request.

Can you work with black and white or color photos? 
Yes, we can work with either black and white or color photographs. No negatives please! 

If there is more than one person in the original photo, or random people in the background, is it possible to single out the target object? 
Yes, we can crop the photo to work only on the person, pet or object you desire to have on the portrait. Just make sure that there are no obstructions in front or touching the subject. 
 
If two photos are used for the same piece, does it matter if the faces come in different sizes? 
No, don't worry; we will make them proportional to each other without compromising the quality.

Will I get the photo back?
Yes, we will return the original photo to you along with the portrait. We cannot be held responsible for photos lost in the mail.

Can I choose a certain color scheme or do you pick the colors?
You can certainly tell us which colors you want us to use. You can even send us a photo of the room where you plan to hang it or even samples of the wall paint or
upholstery fabric, so we can match the colors. Otherwise, we will choose the colors for the portrait that we think match better the photograph sent to us. 
 
Can I preview the design before it is finalized?
Yes, you will receive a proof of the design via email, 5-7 business days from the time we receive the photo, at that point, we can modify the colors per your request. We cannot add design elements that do not exist in the photos; however, we will do our best to accommodate your requests. 
 
What if the photo provided by the customer is not good for the portrait?
If for any reason we determine that the photo will not work well for the design of the portrait (out of focus, bad lighting, face too small, etc), we will request you to send us a new photo at no additional charge. In case you prefer not to use a different photograph, we will cancel the order immediately without any penalties or fees.
