Instructions
Open the Keepsounds box to capture and preserve your message. Each box will record two 20-second messages.
  1. Pull on the ribbon tab to remove the inside cover
  2. Flip the unit ON, using the switch in the lower right-hand corner
  3. Switch to RECORD mode, using the selector located below the PLAY button
  4. UNLOCK the 1st Generation or 2nd Generation switch, depending on whether you are creating the first or second Keepsounds message
  5. Depress and hold the red REC button, and speak for 20 seconds or less (for best results, hold the box 6" from your mouth, speaking loudly and clearly)
  6. LOCK the appropriate Generation switch to keep your message from being recorded over
  7. Switch from Record to the PLAY mode
  8. To hear your message, press the PLAY button
    REMEMBER: Switch the box OFF when it is not in use to preserve the batteries. Units require (2) 3-volt CR2032 batteries. Unit will not operate if both recorders are in the UNLOCK position.
